Custom wearable design, hardware, embedded software, apps and production support for brands building their next device.

QX TECH is a Shenzhen-based wearable design and manufacturing partner. We work across finished products and custom OEM/ODM projects, including smartwatches, screenless bands, other wearable form factors, software and AI hardware. Start with an existing platform or a new product brief; the development scope, tooling, software rights, order quantities and acceptance criteria are agreed for the project.
An existing device can provide a concrete starting point for evaluation. Compare its enclosure, sensors, connectivity and companion software with the intended user experience before deciding how much to change. A catalog sample is a reference configuration, not a promise that every modification will fit the same electronics, budget or schedule.
For a new design, bring the use case first: who wears it, where it is worn, how it interacts, and what the user needs it to do without a phone. These decisions guide the mechanical structure, power budget and software architecture. QX TECH can discuss both product supply and development work; the commercial agreement defines which is being purchased.
| Route | Starting point | Clarify before committing |
|---|---|---|
| Catalog adaptation | An existing QX product | Branding, configuration and software changes |
| ODM development | A shared brief and development scope | Engineering, tooling and ownership |
| OEM production | Customer-defined specifications | Design readiness, test coverage and production responsibilities |
A wearable is more than an enclosure with electronics. Pairing, firmware behavior, data synchronization, app screens and cloud interfaces form one experience. We bring hardware, embedded software, app/cloud, testing, quality and supply-chain capabilities into the discussion so the interfaces between workstreams are explicit.
For AI-enabled projects, identify the task that needs AI and the conditions in which it must work. On-device, phone-assisted and cloud-assisted approaches should be evaluated against power, latency, connectivity and operating cost. A demonstration and a production-ready workflow have different acceptance requirements.
Ask for a quotation that separates samples, engineering work, tooling, production units and ongoing software or service costs. Specify which work is optional, who provides third-party accounts, and which items depend on testing or outside approval. MOQ and lead time are project-specific rather than universal website promises.
Before launch, agree a reference configuration and acceptance plan: device revision, firmware/app versions, test conditions, packaging and support responsibilities. Discuss required market documentation with the appropriate testing partners. Claims about certification, waterproofing, battery life or health functionality must refer to the actual configuration being ordered.
Yes. QX TECH has experience in wearable design and manufacturing beyond the listed products. Share the wear location, dimensions, functions and target market so we can assess the development scope.
Not automatically. Source code, SDK access, app accounts, tooling and IP rights need to be stated in the project agreement.
Send the form factor, use case, must-have features, target market, sample needs and estimated order range. Our RFQ checklist provides a practical starting template.
Specifications belong to the named model and configuration. Custom changes require separate evaluation. Health functions are for general wellness reference only, not medical diagnosis.
